YASS, NSW
HERITAGE PROJECT
A little heritage cottage sits amoung the streets of Yass paitently waiting for some love and another shot at life. How do we bring new life to such an old building? This cottage had some challanges, all that we were able to overcome. Our client wanted to keep the front and majority of the home in orginial condition, The addition on the rear allowed the cottage to look untouched from the front and original but walk down the long hallway into a large open plan living area with a fabulous kitchen and its a whole new world for this beautiful country charm.

COASTAL ESCAPE
A beauitful spot overlooking the ocean, our client wanted to use the view to their advantage. This extension gave our clients a 3 car garage which allowed for additional cars to be parked securely during holidaying, a large entertaining space overlooking the ocean and a beautiful kitchen which allowed entertaining easy with a seemless flow into the lounge room.

FIT FOR A QUEEN
This bathroom was over 20 years old and was in desperate need of an update. The original shower leaked and had caused water damage to the frame and internal linings of the walls. Our client wanted to create an open bathroom with ample light and ventilation. The client also wanted to incorperate VJ board, this took lots of planning to ensure that the fixing of the board to the frame did not damage the new waterproofing. When it comes to water we do not want to give it any opportunity to cause damage within your home. While planning this bathroom for the VJ board we decided to use villaboard as backing so the waterproofing and tiles had a smooth surface to stick to then attached the VJ board on top. We have called this technique the double skin. By using this technique we have created a seemless finish between VJ board and tile.
